As 2012 kicks off, we compiled a list of our top 10 most anticipated gadgets due to come out over the next year. Samsung Galaxy S III

2011 was the year "Android" became a part of everyone's vocabulary. Samsung introduced us to the Galaxy S, and pretty soon came the improved Galaxy S II. Bring on the III!

Apple iPhone 5

Everyone thought it would come out in 2011 and instead we got the iPhone 4S. Chances are that the iPhone 5 will come out this year, and will be the first post-Jobs-era iPhone.

Google/Motorola/G Next-gen Nexus

The next smartphone in the Nexus series will probably be made by Motorola which is now a part of Google. Will it become the flagship Android?

Apple iPad 3

The iPad 2 made the first generation iPad look like a prehistoric tablet. What will the iPad 3 bring to the table(t)?

Still un-named, we can only imagine this one will be a killer and make Apple and Amazon sweat. Nexus Pad anyone?

Wii U

The Wii was the first console to make us get off our asses. What will the U make us do?

Sony PlayStation 4
Seems like decades since the PS3 was released. No doubt the PS4 will be a major upgrade.

Microsoft Xbox 720
The Kinect definitely improved our Xbox 360 experience, but we won't say no to a brand new Microsoft console.

Sony PlayStation Vita

The PS Vita was technically released in 2011, but close enough to 2012 to put on this list. Finally a new portable console from Sony!

Microsoft Kinect 2
The Kinect rocked in 2011, will Microsoft release the next generation so soon?
