The launch of SPECTRE has been one of the most anticipated theatrical releases of 2015 and after smashing box office records in its opening weekend; it’s safe to say that the movie met everyone’s highest expectations.
007 fans will be pleased to hear that there is no sign of the excitement dying down. For starters, SPECTRE recently premiered in Switzerland, on the world’s largest Xperia smartphone.
The Zurich premiere was attended by 1,500 VIP guests, with an additional 3,000 Xperia Z5 Compact owners being invited to the Arena Hallenstadion to see James Bond’s latest adventure for the first time. And what better device to watch it on than the world’s largest Xperia Smartphone?
Adding to the excitement, Sony partnered with Swisscom to give away exclusive tickets to the premiere with the purchase of Xperia Z5 Compact bundles.
PlayStation® made sure they didn’t miss out on any limelight this week, as they announced that the family of supported devices for PlayStation® Vue had just got bigger! Anybody wanting to access PlayStation Vue on additional televisions in their home can now do so. PlayStation Vue has headed to Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick, with Chromecast support soon to follow. This brings the availability of PlayStation Vue to a total of seven devices.
If you’re more into football than gaming, don’t worry – we have something for you too. This week we released a brand new Xperia Theme based on the legendary superstar Cristiano Ronaldo. And just in time to celebrate the movie ‘Ronaldo’ which is coming to a cinema near you next week. Filmed over 14 months, the film has full access to one of the most loved soccer players in the world.
