The Moto G was one of the first smartphones that came with a really low price while still bringing great performance, all in a decently-sized form factor. The device has been available in Canada since its launch in January but unfortunately, it only came in an 8 GB version which is still, to this day, an exclusive to TELUS and Koodo.
Even if you were to purchase the phone and unlock it yourself, it still wouldn’t work on a carrier like WIND Mobile which operates on AWS bands (1700/2100 MHz).
But today, there’s good news. WIND Mobile tweeted out that they will finally be carrying the AWS-enabled phone that comes in 16 GB of internal storage. They really know how to kill two birds with one stone here.
