A new report has hinted that the third generation Moto G smartphone could be on the way, considering that Motorola has used a 10 month refresh cycle for the handset so far. Going by this report, the handset should be unveiled by July at least, which makes sense since we recently saw an Indian retailer prematurely put up the listing for the smartphone.
While nothing is known about this handset at the moment, the leaked listing did suggest that the company would include an 8GB storage module with the smartphone, perhaps with an expandable microSD slot. We should come across more leaks along the way if the announcement isn’t far away. As far as the pricing is concerned, we should be looking at something under the $200 price bracket given the competition it faces from devices on a global level.
The 2014 Moto G was also sold in an LTE variant and we don’t expect it to be any different this time around. The CEO of Lenovo has suggested that they (Motorola) have a bundle of products lined up for launch, so we could be in for an interesting next couple of months.
