It's been possible to use Microsoft Exchange mail accounts on Android for years, but never exactly in an ideal or intuitive way. Microsoft is changing that thanks to its new multi-platform approach, releasing something we never thought we'd see a few years ago: a first-party Outlook email app. This really is a mobile version of the ubiquitous Office app, including support for standard POP3 and webmail services (like Gmail!) and integration with OneDrive and Dropbox. You don't need to be an Office 365 subscriber to try the free app.
Outlook is a free email app that helps you get more done from anywhere with one unified view of your email, calendar, contacts, and attachments. Outlook automatically surfaces your most important messages – across all your email accounts. Swipe to quickly delete, archive, or schedule messages you want to handle later. Easily view your calendar, share available times, and schedule meetings. And attach files from your email, OneDrive, or Dropbox with just a few taps.
Sling TV is a new venture from DISH Network (not to be confused with Slingbox, a separate company) that allows you to subscribe to and watch some popular cable channels completely online. It's what cord-cutters have been wanting for years, and though the selection is pretty sparse at the moment, it's off to a promising start. $20 a month with no equipment or contracts gets you a handful of channels including ESPN, with more programming blocks available for $5 each.
Watch Live TV over the Internet without the cable company. See ESPN, your favorite shows, breaking news, big games, new movies and more. This free app allows you to watch the best live TV instantly on your Android device anytime, anywhere. Download the app for free. Sign up for Sling TV inside the app or at www.sling.com. Then watch instantly with this app. Enjoy the best in U.S and International TV (available in the U.S. only).
CaastMe is a combination Android app and website that makes it impressively easy to send links from your phone or tablet to your computer (but not the other way around). Open the Caast.me site on your laptop or desktop and you'll see a QR code. Share whatever you'd like to on your phone with the standard share menu, select CaastMe, and point your camera at the code. Presto, the link will automatically open in your computer browser. Neat.
Fastest way to share link from Android to computer browser. Having trouble copying long url into your desktop/laptop browser? All you need to do is to scan a QRCode on the computer's browser, and the shared hyperlink will be magically opened on it. Using it for the first time? Please check out the quick guide on http://caast.me

Say what you will about Bing, but Microsoft's search page features some genuinely awesome photography. Now you can check it out on a regular basis with this branded app, which replaces Android's default lockscreen with... well, Bing. Picturesque includes most of the stuff you're used to from similar apps like notifications and app shortcuts, plus pretty pictures and a direct link to Bing search.
Picturesque Lock Screen, a Microsoft Garage project, brings the beautiful Bing home page images to your android lock screen. The app allows you to easily change the image (from the past 6 days Bing homepages) with just a shake of the phone or by swiping to the right. You could see your missed calls and text messages at a glance on the lock screen and also search directly from the lock screen without unlocking your phone. Picturesque also brings your current weather, news and Indian regional calendars on your phone lock screen.
Hacker News is a Reddit-style news portal for software developers and tinkerers. This unofficial app is a browser for that site, and it's gorgeous, easily besting the mobile version (and several news aggregation apps) in readability and interface. Submitting, voting, and multiple account support are all included.
Yarn is a beautiful, full featured app for browsing and interacting with Hacker News.

Take it from someone who has to return review devices on a regular basis: shipping is expensive. Roadie tries to crowdsource that action by letting you drop off a package to someone heading towards its destination instead. You can also ship other people's packages yourself to earn some cash. Of course, all of this relies on trusting strangers not to steal your stuff.
Say hello to Roadie, the first neighbor-to-neighbor shipping network. No matter what you need to send, chances are there’s a Roadie who can deliver it same day, next day, at night or even on weekends. It’s a faster, cheaper, friendlier way to get your stuff where it needs to go. Left your keys at the office? Need your golf clubs in Charleston this afternoon? A Roadie driver can lend a helping hand, for about the cost of gas money. Think of it as carpooling for cargo. No need for boxes, tape and packing peanuts. Roadie lets your cargo ride commando.
It might not surprise you to learn that self-admitted nerds who work from home writing about phones and tablets don't like to go out to get stuff done. (The word "shut-in" just doesn't cut it.) If you feel the same way about shipping stuff, check out Shyp. It lets you request a home pickup for any item, even without the printouts, accounts, or even packaging that you need from companies like UPS. Too bad it only works in New York City, Miami, San Francisco, and (soon) Los Angeles.
Open 7 days a week from 8am-8pm. FREE packaging (custom box, tape, label, materials). Shyp is the easiest way to send your items anywhere in the world. In short, we’re here to make shipping magical.
you take a photo of the item you want to ship
you enter the destination address on your phone
you choose a shipping speed // cost
you request a pickup
we come to you to pick up your unboxed item
we build a customized box for your item
we professionally package your item
we price compare and select the best priced carrier (Fedex, UPS, USPS, DHL)
we insure your item up to $1,000 and can do more if you like
Having bad vision sucks, especially when you're trying to read tiny text on a screen. BIG Notifications does just one thing: enlarges Android's default notifications to make them easier to see. The standard version includes a handy toggle for the universal service (great if you use glasses or contacts), and the paid version adds variable text size and text-to-speech support.
A great companion app to the award winning BIG Launcher interface. Can also be used separately. Specially designed for seniors and people with vision problems. Compatible with Android 4.3 and newer.
Zoom the system notifications and display them full-screen with big font
Show them automatically or via the shortcut in the top notification area
Use enlarged notification actions directly without opening the original app

I've got a friend. Let's call him David Archibald. Archie is anti-social, and he hates talking to waiters or counter staff at restaurants, because he hates talking to people in general. Reserve is perfect for him: it lets him reserve a table at a restaurant, order his food, and pay for it, all without ever having to talk with a real-live human being. It's a good thing Da- er, Archibald lives in LA, because that's one of the only places where Reserve works, along with New York, Boston, and San Francisco.
Our concierge service makes every part of the dining experience better, from helping you find a great place to eat to taking care of the check. Whether you need a table for a big business lunch tomorrow or for a special occasion a month in advance, Reserve can help. We’re working with some of the top names in dining to enable an exceptional level of hospitality and create a better experience for diners before, during, and after their meal.
Flush is a fast and simple toilet finder. It has a slick interface with beautiful animations and transitions inspired by material design. The database of tens of thousands of public toilets is stored on the phone for fast and offline access. Search for a location as well as pan on the map and we'll show you the nearest public toilets to you. Tap on the map to get directions provided by Google Maps. Or if you just really need to find a toilet, tap the directions button and we'll give you directions to the closest toilet, no need to fiddle about with anything.
There's a fundamental flaw in package delivery: most people are at work when the UPS guy needs a signature. This service gets around that - just ship to a Doorman proxy address, and they'll deliver in the evening when you're actually home, all the way up to midnight. Awesome! It's not free, but for that important package, it could be incredibly useful.
Evening package delivery on demand. Get your online purchases (or anything else shipped to you) delivered on-demand to your front door until midnight. No more missed deliveries or lugging boxes home from work.
Ship your online orders (or anything else) to your personal myDoorman Shipping Address.
Get notified when your packages arrive.
Then schedule same-day delivery to your front door until midnight.
