Motorola hasn't officially announced a 2nd generation Moto E, but the company has every reason to make one. The budget device was a big seller last year, and we got a leaked image of the new one just last month. Now the phone is on Best Buy's website, priced at $99 for Sprint prepaid service. However, you (probably) can't buy it just yet.
The Best Buy listing doesn't show shipping as an option, and in-store pickup returns no stores with stock. There might be a few units out there someplace, so feel free to check your ZIP code. The device itself is identical to the one in our leak and comes with a somewhat complete spec list. Keep in mind Best Buy isn't as technical as many sites when it comes to specs.
Screen: 4.5-inches 540 x 960
Processor: Qualcomm 1.2GHz (presumably another Snapdragon 200)
Measurements: 5.12 x 2.64 x 0.47-inches, 5.04 ounces
Wireless: 3G|4G|4G LTE
It's not clear when or if Motorola will make an official announcement—the new Moto E might just appear at retail without warning. Still, the Sprint model is almost certainly jumping the gun a little. Unlocked GSM versions are expected to be available at some point too.
