The traditional method for creating a resume has been to open a preferred word processor on the desktop and fight through clunky templates and formatting until finished.
However, there are some iPad apps that will do the job better and in significantly less time. The following choices are geared specifically to making the resume-making process less painful.
Resume Designer produces a solid, minimalist resume without a tremendous amount of effort. It breaks out the key sections in a resume and presents them for you to fill in.
It also offers some style adjustments, such as the font and layout, along with a preview so you can see its progression.
When finished, you can print the resume or save it as a PDF for sending out to prospective employers.
