Yesterdya, pictures came out showing what is reported to be the rear shell of the iPhone 6 5.5-inch model. The pictures allegedly show the iPhone 6 back plate with a cut for the Apple logo, screw placement for the logic board, spaces for the camera, microphone, and flash, as well as other production components within the device. Unfortunately we haven’t seen an image of the iPhone 6 without the ugly antenna grooves.
Reports that the 5.5-inch models’ production was pushed back until now may be why we haven’t seen many images of the iPhone 6. Further more, these reports bring some people to believe that the iPhone 6 with a 5.5-inch screen debut could be pushed until the October event. I believe that the iPhone 6′s 5.5-inch design will be unveiled along side its smaller 4.7-inch counterpart on September 9th but could see a later release date than the 4.7-inch device. Apple really wants to keep the October event centered around the iWatch with undertones of iPad and some Mac line updates.
With the iPhone 6 5.5-inch model starting production, we expect to find out if there will be many differences between the two devices. Many speculate that the 4.7-inch model will come with premium qualities to it like a sapphire glass display.
