We love the Moto X, but it was certainly limited without a microSD card slot and just 16GB or 32GB of storage – at least for folks like me who require as much storage as possible. Motorola is about to change that and promised on Friday that it will sell a 64GB Moto X starting on Sunday.
The device will be available right through MotoMaker on Motorola.com, where you’ ll be able to customize it with a variety of colors as usual, but under the “features” option you’ll soon be able to add up to 64GB of storage. Motorola says that will add $100 to the base price, putting the phone’s total cost at $449.99 off contract. That’s still a pretty good deal, and if you want to save cash you can still opt to pay just $349.99 for the 16GB model or $399.99 fort he 32GB model. Keep in mind premium features like the wood back panels will still cost an additional $25.
The Moto X with 64GB of storage will be available for AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint and Republic Wireless customers as well.
