Well now there’s a surprise! The folks behind Bastion released their second title to consoles and desktops last year, with nary a word about mobile. If you’re a fan of action RPGs and you haven’t picked this up on another platform yet, you owe it to yourself to give this a play. Read our PC review from last year to see why.
Is it Angry Birds match-3? Absolutely. But match-3 — especially match-3 combat games — can be done really well. Now that it’s out (and free), it won’t cost us a thing to find out if Angry Birds Fight! is among the genre’s better titles.
There was a time when gravity-flipping platformers were all the rage, but in our estimation, it’s been a long while since we’ve seen a game built around this mechanic. Pills4Skills breaks that silence, and looks like a crazy difficult challenge too.
Phew! That title is a mouthful. But at least it communicates pretty clearly what you’ll find within. If you’re a fan of real-time strategy and/or tower defense, this new mashup aims promises to have both genres covered.
