Acer’s mid-range Android smartphone, the Liquid E2, was announced back in June and has been available to buy from independent third-party retailers for a few weeks now, but starting as from today it’s also available to purchase from Three U.K.
The E2 is a respectable entry-level handset, packing a 4.5-inch qHD display, a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM and an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera. In terms of networking the Liquid supports 42Mbps DC-HSDPA, but sadly it lacks LTE capabilities.
Three U.K. is giving the Liquid E2 away for free on all of its 24-month contracts, which can be seen below:
Ultimate 100: 100 minutes, 5,000 texts and all-you-can-eat data – £17 per month.
Ultimate Internet 500: 500 minutes, 5,000 texts and all-you-can-eat data – £20 per month.
The One Plan: 2,000 minutes, 5,000 Three-to-Three minutes, 5,000 texts and all-you-can-eat data – £23 per month.
If you don’t like the look of the tariffs above, you could always pick one up on PAYG for a reasonable £149.99.
