ActiveNotifications has been talked about on your site before, and now that it has support for non-Android 4.3, and non-AMOLED display devices, I decided to make it our app of the week.
ActiveNotifications is very easy to set up. First, you will have to activate it in your accessibility settings as usual when it comes to notification apps, then you can pick which apps you want it to notify you with. After that, you are finished. There are other little tweaks within the app, but you will have to purchase the unlock key, which will run you a whole dollar bill. Those added tweaks really are not needed to get the full experience, but if you feel that it is necessary to have it, go right ahead.
I have been using the app for about five days now, and I must say, I am really enjoying it. I just flashed an Android 4.3 ROM onto my HTC One, and it has worked beautifully. I was worried that it might swallow precious battery life, but that does not seem to be the case one bit. So check out my video run through below, and let us know what you think about the app.
