If you own a Mac or any iDevice, you have probably heard of djay, which turns your Mac/iDevice into a fully equipped DJ system. Algoriddim has now moved beyond that great piece of software to announce and release its next piece of work: vjay for the iPad. vjay allows users to mix music videos together in a way that will be familiar to djay users.
vjay takes users’ media libraries and allows them to combine and mix their audio and video tracks in real-time to create amazing music videos that can be displayed, performed, and streamed in a variety of ways. A few main features of the app include integration with the iTunes Store, support for external displays via HDMI and AirPlay, integration with the iPad’s built-in camera for user-created content, and so much more.
Unfortunately, vjay only supports the iPad as of right now. While this may change in the future, Algoriddim has yet to announce whether the app will come to any other Apple platforms.
