A new image of the Samsung made Nexus 10 has popped up on Evleaks’ Twitter account, revealing its existence. Although the leakster claims it cannot vouch for its authenticity, the press image is very reminiscent of a Nexus device, so we should expect an announcement soon. What’s odd though, is that the source mentions the tablet to come with Android 4.5. Since we’re still not fully done with Android 4.4 yet, it is hard to imagine Android 4.5 this early in the day, so we’ll consider that a typo. However the rest of the specs sheet appears to be legitimate and in line with recent trend. Pocket-Lint has managed to access another press image of the tablet from a slightly different angle, so it’s clear that the tablet is real. According to a tipster cited by Evleaks, the tablet will feature a WQXGA (2560 x 1600) resolution display, 3GB of RAM, 16 or 32GB of non-expandable internal storage, an Exynos SoC (possibly Exynos 5420) along with a 5MP rear camera and a 3MP front facing camera. It’s a little surprising that Google waited this long to launch the Nexus 10 successor as the original Nexus 10 was announced along with the Nexus 4 back in 2012.
