At a special event this afternoon, as expected, Amazon has introduced its first smartphone the Fire Phone.
The handset features a quad-core 2.2 GHZ processor, 2GB of RAM, and a 13MP rear camera with optical image stabilization.
Some of the other interesting features include tangle-free and magnetic headphones with flat cables, X-ray technology, and ASAP predictive caching for video content.
As for the actual hardware design, the Fire Phone looks amazingly similar to the iPhone sporting a 4.7-inch screen covered with Gorilla Glass 3.
We’ll update you when pricing and availability are announced at the event.
