Amazon looks to improve on the original Kindle Fire design with another updated model bearing the same screen size. For those interested in a larger sized Kindle Fire, Amazon is reportedly working on a 10.1 inch model that will hit the market in early 2013.
With the launch of the new $199 Amazon Kindle Fire, the previous model will receive a price cut down to $149. We’re not sure if Amazon plans on calling the newer tablet the ‘Kindle Fire 2′ or simply ‘Kindle Fire’. The newer tablet should launch in several months as Amazon prepares for another successful Holiday season with the new Kindle Fire heralded as its flagship device. Upgrades from the previous model includes a higher-resolution screen, faster processor, and possibly more onboard memory.
