Like clockwork, Apple is expected to release a new iPad later this year that is sure to get the requisite buzz and attention, but a research firm says it won’t spark a big uptick in the sales.
WitsView, a research division of Trendforce, forecasts tablet shipments worldwide will reach 205.5 million in 2014, up less than five percent from the previous year.
Some of the slowing growth may be a question of definition.
