Apples often-rumored 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch iPhone 6 models wont just have different screen sizes. The larger of the two will feature more powerfulcomponent partsunder the hood, according to AppleInsider.
On Monday, Cowen & Co. analyst Timothy Arcuri explained that the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 would include a more powerful application processor and ship with a larger die, meaning the chip size is bigger.
A larger die might be a sign that the 5.5-inch model will feature additional on-die silicon, such as a larger array of graphics processing cores. Alternatively, it might suggest that Apple will make the two chips believed to be the “A8″ in different fabrication plants using different processes.
Arcuri also believes that both iPhone 6 models could feature different touch modules.
