The update also adds stability and security improvements and enhancements to the power profile capabilities, as said Motorola Mobile’s SVP of software engineering, Steve Horowitz.
Once your Moto G device becomes eligible for the new software updates, you will be notified automatically over-the-air, and you will receive a message in the notification area. So keep an eye on your handset.
You also have the option to manually check wirelessly for available updates under Settings->About phone->System updates.
If an update is available you just need to follow the instructions on your phone to download and install it.
Once updated, your Moto G will restart to complete the installation.
