Motorola has a strong track record of pushing out major firmware updates to their Moto phones across the world. You can blame Google’s initial Android 5.0 Lollipop code for messing that whole thing, delaying the release of the new firmware for just about every OEM out there.
After Android 5.0.2 began hitting some lucky Moto G 2nd Gen owners in the UK and Germany last week as a soak test, that update is now officially available for all. Still rolling out in stages over-the-air, you may not see the update right away but rest assured it is indeed coming.
