A new report says that the Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 LTE is now getting the Android 5.0.2 update. The tablet was launched about an year ago and has been lacking frequent software updates. But that’s about to change now, at least to some extent with the device receiving the Android 5.0.2 update. To be clear, the tablet with the model number SM-P905 is getting the update.
The update brings along a myriad of changes including some TouchWiz tweaks, so there’s plenty to look forward to for device owners. The Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 is a productivity oriented tablet and the update will be welcomed by the customers. The build number on the device will change to P905XXUABOD7 after the update.
Samsung hasn’t mentioned whether the company will roll out the Android 5.1 update for the tablet, but we won’t be holding our breath. The update is being issued over the air, but you can head over to the Settings to pull the update manually. Alternatively, you can connect the device through Samsung Kies and try getting the Android 5.0.2 update that way.
