You can manage your tasks in a number of ways on your iPhone, and it can be tough to find the one that’s just right for you. Finish. is a school based task manager, but its style can be applied in a number of ways, from chores around the house to business project management. The app is all about helping you fight procrastination by letting you set-up short, mid, and long terms due dates. You add tasks like other to do apps, and as time passes the various tasks slide into the different timeframes, and you’re alerted accordingly. The main design revolves around getting you to complete important tasks, and overcome procrastination, especially in a school setting, or when deadlines are involved.
Now, Finish. has been updated for iOS 7 with a seamless design, and gesture based interface. You can create new entires just by adding title & date, and the the app will do the rest to remind you. The app also includes the ability to set times for tasks, a “bother me” reminder option, and note taking capabilities for individual tasks. The app has been high quality for awhile, but is relevant again thanks to a new update that includes a price drop to free. Now, anyone can try Finish., and there’s a single $0.99 in-app purchase to get Finish.More, which unlocks the full app. Without the in-app purchase, you’re only able to add ten tasks without specific times only to give you an idea of the app, but without full functionality. The best part is that if you already own Finish., Finish. More is automatically unlocked by entering your Apple ID and password.
Finish. ($0.99, iPhone) is a highly functional task management app that now offers most features you can think of, and won an Apple Design Award in 2013 from a development team comprised of a pair of 16 year olds.
