There’s so much that happens in our daily lives, and more of us are already sharing it through various social media outlets. It would be great to keep track of all that we do, but it can be a bit overwhelming to start keeping a daily journal/diary. Momento is a journal app to make the entire process a whole lot easier, and more inviting. The best feature of Momento is connectivity to your social media accounts in the form of “Feeds”. You can sync your various status updates, so they’re included within a single journal entry for a particular day. Momento connects with Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Foursquare, Flickr, YouTube, Vimeo, Last.fm, web deeds, and Moves.
Your journal can be filled in automatically by your Twitter & Facebook posts, Instagram & Flickr photos, and your activities from the great Moves app. All of the various updates are integrated naturally within the structure of the app for seamless viewing when going back through previous days. One of the neatest parts is that the app includes your entire history from these various feeds to fill in your journal in the past. You can add tags to any particular day to help sort particular topics in your journal. Finally, there’s obviously the ability to just create new journal entires specifically in Momento complete with text, photos, locations, contacts, and events. The entire app has also just been updated for iOS 7, and it couldn’t be easier to add new journal entires while keeping track of existing ones in list, or calendar view. The app also offers passcode support as well as exports, and backups.
Momento (Free, iPhone) will actually get you to keep a journal on your iPhone, and it can always add entires from the sources you’re already posting to.
