Everyone has their own two cents to give, and all of the opinions combined together can provide some nice information. Three Cents is a new iPhone app that revolves around creating polls to gauge popular opinion on various topics. Polls have been conducted for a long time, but I don’t know if they have ever been this easy. With Three Cents, you simply type out your question, supply the potential answers, and then share the poll with who ever you want. One of the best parts is that others don’t need the app to answer the polls, as it can be browser based for a huge group of people to draw from, whether you share by social media, e-mail, text, or to all Three Cents users.
There’s a lot of potential questions to ask, and Three Cents has built in connections to fill in your poll questions. You can ask about movies from Rotten Tomatoes, apps, books, or music from iTunes, restaurants from Yelp, or vacations/hotels from TripAdvisor. It’s a great base to draw from that adds legitimacy to your poles, and makes it effortless to integrate all of the relevant information. You can always make you’re own unique polls with photos from your camera roll, and again it’s all about giving you a ton of potential avenues. Once a poll is set-up, it’s neat to see the results roll in whether you create a private, or public poll. You can also vote in other polls with featured, and recent lists to browse.
Three Cents (Free, iPhone) is a well made utility that come in quite handy in numerous ways.
