Apple’s iPhone 5s screen replacement program has just begun rolling out to Apple stores across the U.S. and Canada, but it’ll soon be available in Europe, too. 9to5Mac’s sources claim the program is set to expand to stores overseas as early as Monday, Aug. 11.
9to5Mac was accurate with the previous iPhone 5s screen replacement information, so we have every reason to believe the program in Europe is imminent. Apple has been actively working to bring in-house replacement programs to its devices over the past several months, beginning with the iPhone 5 and iPhone 5c. Customers with broken displays can get their screen replaced for $150 per repair; otherwise you’d have to pay $269 to replace the device altogether.
The price in Europe is expected to be the equivalent of $150, but nothing official has been announced just yet. With the program is expected to be here in less than a week, Apple will likely divulge the details soon. As soon as we hear more information we will let you know.
