This is the second media event to be hosted by the newly appointed CEO Tim Cook, since the passing of iconic CEO Steve Jobs. During the event at Yerba Buena Center in San Francisco, other figures within the company took the stage, such as Phil Schiller, senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing, and Eddy Cue, senior vice president of Internet Software and Services.
The biggest news from the event was the new iPad featuring a high-resolution Retina Display, new A5X CPU, and the improved camera of 5-megapixel capable of 1080p video.
Apple unveiled a new Apple TV, which will be capable of handling 1080p playback.
