The iPhone 7 hits stores later this week and to ramp up the hype, Apple boss Tim Cook on Sunday shared some shots snapped by the larger of the two devices, which comes with superior camera features.
The pictures (full set here) were taken by Sports Illustrated photographer David E. Klutho at the Titans-Vikings game over the weekend.
Utilizing the iPhone 7 Plus’s two 12-megapixel rear cameras – one with a 28mm wide-angle lens and the other with a 56mm telephoto lens – Klutho’s photos are tack sharp with great color reproduction, results certain to delight photography enthusiasts who’re planning on going for the larger iPhone.
Presumably Cook himself wasn’t at Sunday’s football game otherwise he would surely have posted some pics of his own taken with the new phone. Or perhaps not.
The Apple boss was ridiculed earlier this year when he tweeted a somewhat lousy image snapped during the post-match celebrations at the Super Bowl. Netizens wasted little time in mocking Cook, with one asking if the picture was taken with a toaster and another suggesting he switch to using a Samsung Galaxy device instead. Cook later deleted the blurry photo.
