Much like in 2013, Apple Stores will once again be offering a free, one-hour introduction to computer programming. The Hour of Code events will be next Thursday, Dec. 11.
To sign up for the class at your nearest store location, visit Apples site here.
The events are in support of Computer Science Education Week, which runs from Dec. 8 to 14.
As part of the week, select Apple Stores will also host special events with app developers and engineers.
For example, at the North Michigan Ave. store in Chicago, Theodore Gray will host a discussion on Monday, Dec. 8. He is the cofounder and chief creative office of Touch Press. Hell talk about how he got is start in computing and his spectacular app The Elements.

Organizers are hoping that 100 million students worldwide will take part in an Hour of Code this year.
