Instead of product shots, Apple is turning the tables with its latest marketing campaign for the iPhone 6. Just yesterday, Apple launched a new microsite featuring a number of images taken with an iPhone 6.
The gallery features 77 images taken by photographers from all aroundthe world.
And according to Time, the site is part of a new worldwide marketing push for the insanely popular handset. A number of images shot by iPhone 6 photographers will be featured on billboards, bus stops, and train stations throughout the world with a simple tagline Shot on iPhone.
If youre a fan of photography, definitely look at the complete gallery on Apples site. The images are spectacular. As a nice touch, Apple lists where the image was taken and what apps the photographer used. Along with the stock Camera app, some of the more popular apps included VSCO Cam, Adobe Photoshop Express, Snapseed, and others.
While I was previously a fan of high-end cameras, my fancy Canon DSLR is usually at home gathering dust. Especially for outdoor photography, the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are able to take some wonderful photos.
