Today’s iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch apps for free daily include a arcade football game, minimalistic camera, retro jumping game, and home screen customizer. A number of apps drop from paid to free on a daily basis*, and we pick the top four everyday, as many of the others aren’t worth your time even for free. Everyday we try to pick apps that are worth spending money on, but are now free to download, and here they are.
*Price drops are temporary, and usually last for just 24 hours, so be quick to download.
Backbreaker 2: Vengeance ($0.99 -> Free, iPhone) [Review]: The quick action football sequel where you to try to make it to the end zone each time. You play a ball carrier, and spin and juke your way past defenders to the goal line. The game is beautifully designed, and comes with a new Vengeance mode where you play the defender. There are 10 levels with 10 waves each in tackle alley and vengeance mode, and there is an endless endurance for both modes too.
Spark Camera ($1.99 -> Free, iPhone) [Review]: A camera app that is all about simplicity as you simply tap, and hold anywhere on screen to record video. The set-up is similar to Vine & Instagram, but you can do this as many times as you want to create multiple clips in a seamless video. Once you have a video, you can then apply filters by simply swiping through the ten included choices during playback.
The Blocks Cometh ($0.99 -> Free, iPhone): A retro styled vertical jumping game where blocks rain down from above. You need to keep trying to make it to the top of stack of blocks, and there are two game modes, four characters to unlock, and the ability to play in landscape mode.
Pimp Your Screen ($0.99 -> Free, Universal): The app lets you customize the look of your iOS device with the ability to add shelf wallpapers, integrate icon skins, apply home screen themes, change the lock screen, and more. There are over a million different combinations covering multiple categories of wallpapers, skins, and themes.
