Block Fortress: War ($1.99 -> Free, Universal) [Review]: A follow up to last year’s Block Fortress with a similar style, but with all new gameplay. The War variant of Block Fortress gives you the same 3D cube world, but now it’s a real time strategy game mixed with elements of tower defense. You have a single hero to control with a third person perspective, and you try to go capture resource points, and build defense towers around them. The resources help spawn reinforcement troops, and the main goal is to defeat the enemy’s base across multiple campaign battles with five different block species.
Viz ($1.99 -> Free, iPhone): A well designed utility app that lets you create varied charts in a quick, and simple manner. There are five different chart types with bar, pie, cloud, skyscraper, parliament, with quality results each time.
Marble Math ($2.99 -> Free, Universal): A math tutor app that makes it fun by letting you collect numbers by rolling, or dragging a marble through various mazes. The app covers core math concepts for ages 9-12, and up, with three different difficulty levels.
