Couch Music Player ($0.99 -> Free, Universal) [Review]: The app is geared towards controlling your music with your iPad, while sitting on the couch. Couch Music Player attempts to stand out in a number of ways including with the gesture based interface. The app supports multiple on the go playlist creations, and you can swipe songs in, and out, and up and down to get them just right.
Drum Pad+ Pro ($1.99 -> Free, Universal): Play on the drums all day with Drummer Pad which gives you 16 different drums. There are bass drums, snares, toms, cymbals, high hat, cowbells, two percussion sets, and more. The app includes realistic sounds, and lets you play along with your own music library.
AP U.S. History Exam Prep – powered by Brainscape ($14.99 -> Free, Universal): The app has a limited scope, but excels at it to help a student, or anyone interested in U.S. History. There are over 1,100 dynamic flashcards covering a specific outline of topics on the AP exam. The app identifies your weak, and strong areas through quizzes, and then adjusts the appearance of the flash cards accordingly.
Silly Owls, ($1.99 -> Free, Universal): A physics puzzle game with owls, and there are three unique owls with different special abiltiies. There is the Doory who uses rubber band slingshots, Hooty who uses gravity and apples, and Woody who uses a banana skateboard. There are 60 different levels that take advantage of the three unique gameplay mechanics.
