Today’s iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch apps for free daily include an intelligent camera app, old school platformer, intense workout guide, and screen capture app. A number of apps drop from paid to free on a daily basis*, and we pick the top four everyday, as many of the others aren’t worth your time even for free. Everyday we try to pick apps that are worth spending money on, but are now free to download, and here they are.
*Price drops are temporary, and usually last for just 24 hours, so be quick to download.
Perfect Shot by TapMedia ($0.99 -> Free, Universal): A camera app designed to make life simpler. You simply hold your iPhone to take a picture with the app open, and Perfect Shot identifies a group of people automatically. It has smile, and eye blink detection to snap the “perfect shot” when everyone is smiling, and looking straight ahead.
Rico ($2.99 -> Free, Universal): A retro stylized game offering classic jump and run gameplay with bitty graphics. There are 32 levels of classic platforming action spread across four worlds delivering water, ice, acid pits, mines, boss battles, collectible crystals, and more.
7-Minute Workout ($1.99 -> Free, iPhone): One of many seven minute workout apps, and this one is free for a limited time. It offers three different skill levels that include over 200 unique exercises that come complete with video examples, coaching points, and audio guidance. You can customize the workout by swapping out techniques, and the app automatically syncs the beat of your music to the workout.
Barry – Webpage screenshot ($0.99 -> Free, Universal): The app lets you easily take full length screenshots of webpages, rather than just the part of the web that is on screen. You can then send the resulting image through e-mail, iMessage, Twitter, Dropbox, and more.
