Today’s iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch apps for free daily include a photo movie maker, scheduling app, video editing app, and educational app. A number of apps drop from paid to free on a daily basis*, and we pick the top four everyday, as many of the others aren’t worth your time even for free. Everyday we try to pick apps that are worth spending money on, but are now free to download, and here they are.
*Price drops are temporary, and usually last for just 24 hours, so be quick to download.
PhotoMotion ($0.99 -> Free, iPhone): A photo editing app that lets you transform still photos into a complete video with motion, titles, and music. You can tell a story with a Ken Burns style photo animation effect, and it’s easy to customize transitions, titles, music, photo order, duration, filters, and more.
Daily Scheduler – 3CYCLE ($2.99 -> Free, iPhone): A scheduling app that uses a clock based user interface to show your day broken down on the clock. You can touch, and drag to resize the wedges on the clock for each appointment, and you can set up multiple schedules, and see them all at a glance. The app also provides stats, and a breakdown of the three built-in cycles, love, dream and joy.
Videoshop – Video Editor ($2.99 -> Free, Universal): A video editing utility that lets you trim clips, add slow motion, merge clips, animate titles, apply video filters, and add in transitions. There’s also support for music, voice overs, subtitles, and photo slideshows with a clear breakdown during the entire editing process.
Shiny Circus ($2.99 -> Free, Universal): An educational app that uses a circus theme to introduce mathematical concepts. The app is designed for 4-6 year olds that emphasizes measurement concepts with a read along storybook, coupled with activities to compare length, width, area, distance, and mass.
