Pivvot ($2.99 -> Free, Universal) [Review]: Pivvot is a fast paced arcade game that offers a minimalistic style that focuses on simply testing your reflexes as you try to react to a wide variety of obstacles. In the game, a central dot rides along a spiraling line, and there’s another circle that can spin 360 degrees around that dot. You control the movement of the outer circle, and you simply spin it back and forth to make sure it doesn’t collide with anything.
Toca Builders ($1.99 -> Free, Universal): Toca Boca makes some great kids apps, and Toca Builder offers a Minecraft style building game made for younger audiences. There are six builders to interact with allowing you to create anything you can think of from simple blocks. Everything is made touch sensible as you completely customize your world.
Martha Stewart CraftStudio ($4.99 -> Free, iPad): A craft book app that offers numerous easy to use guides on how to make personalized cards, invitations, thank-you notes, scrapbook pages, keepsakes, and more. There are four main categories included with everyday, birthday party, doily lace, and nature providing access to themed stickers, stamps, glitter, textured borders, fonts, and punches.
Pick – The Purchase Tracker ($1.99 -> Free, iPhone): A purchase tracker that lets you effortlessly add items to a list to see how much you spent, and where you’re money is going. The app also includes a built-in currency converter for 138 currencies, and there’s a quick discount calculator.
