Today’s iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch apps for free daily include an excellent action RPG, fitness tracker, reminder app, and movie based boxing game. A number of apps drop from paid to free on a daily basis*, and we pick the top four everyday, as many of the others aren’t worth your time even for free. Everyday we try to pick apps that are worth spending money on, but are now free to download, and here they are.
*Price drops are temporary, and usually last for just 24 hours, so be quick to download.
Swordigo ($1.99 -> Free, Universal) [Review]: The game provides classic action RPG gameplay that fits today’s touch standards. The game is packed with action as enemies, boss battles, hidden areas, and more continuously come at you. It perfectly fits iOS, and is beautifully designed with amazing 2.5D graphics of 3D in the foreground and 2D in the background. There’s really nothing not to like as you advance through multiple worlds in a single game that makes the iOS platform better as a whole.
Strong – Workout Tracker ($2.99 -> Free, iPhone): A fitness tracking app that lets you set-up workout routines from a wide encompassing list of exercises. The app makes it easy to enter in data, and then you can analyze, export, and filter your workout history.
Remino ($0.99 -> Free, iPhone): A quick entry reminder app that lets you pull down on the screen, enter something to be reminded about, and then select a time. There is a simple color based interface to distinguish reminders, full gesture support, and multiple reminder options.
Real Steel ($0.99 -> Free, Universal): An iOS game based on the robot fighting movie featuring authentic robots from the movie. There are deluxe 3D graphics as you control the robot boxing across multiple game modes. You can also customize your own fighting robot of 1000 possible combinations. A sequel is launching next week.
