Today’s iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch apps for free daily include a music rhythm game, list making app, barcode scanner, and demolition game. A number of apps drop from paid to free on a daily basis*, and we pick the top four everyday, as many of the others aren’t worth your time even for free. Everyday we try to pick apps that are worth spending money on, but are now free to download, and here they are.
*Price drops are temporary, and usually last for just 24 hours, so be quick to download.
Synesthetic ($1.99 -> Free, Universal) [Review]: A music rhythm game that is an interactive visualizer that offers an overload of color that truly shines on your iOS screen. The game is like a psychedelic roller coaster that plays your favorite songs. The entire game connects to your music library, and you simply pick a song, and then start riding to the beat.
Extreme Lists ($0.99 -> Free, Universal): A list making app that is all about making it easy to jot things down, rather than get lost in clutter, menus, or a bloated interface. You can set-up to-dos, shopping list items, packing lists, events, and “whatever you want” lists. The app supports bullet, check, number, and count lists with gestures to create items, and mark them complete.
Frugal ($0.99 -> Free, iPhone): A barcode scanner app that makes it easy to scan in an item, and instantly compare prices online. The app is split into two views with the camera, and web browser, so that you can go directly to comparing prices as soon as you scan in an item. It’s all about speed, and ease of use.
Boom Land ($0.99 -> Free, Universal): A physics puzzle game where you get to blow stuff up. There are 72 levels spread across three worlds that come down to blowing up buildings in just the right way to create total destruction. There is authentic demolition as you place bombs in just the right spots.
