Today’s iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch apps for free daily include a task manager, cooking guide, classic puzzle game, and fixed path tower defense game. A number of apps drop from paid to free on a daily basis*, and we pick the top four everyday, as many of the others aren’t worth your time even for free. Everyday we try to pick apps that are worth spending money on, but are now free to download, and here they are.
*Price drops are temporary, and usually last for just 24 hours, so be quick to download.
Tick Tock Task ($1.99 -> Free, iPhone): A task manager that focuses on time to let you set due dates for your tasks, and then you’re given a timeline of your to-dos. The app lets you assign icons and colors to each task, and you can also set-up sublists under each task. There’s a clean interface with easy to use gestures as well.
Cute Food ($1.99 -> Free, iPad): An app designed for kids to play with their food to be part artist, and part chef. Everything is designed to prepare fun and colorful dishes on the iPad with the steps, and ingredients to create the actual dish to serve. There are over 200 pieces of fruits, and vegetables to inspire kids to eat healthier foods.
Treasure Defense ($1.99 -> Free, Universal): A fixed path tower defense game with multiple pathways to defend against. There are 15 maps to play through as you work with three towers, seven upgrades, and ten different kinds of magical powers. There’s an ornate design as you use archers, bombs, meteorites, lightning, and more to defend your treasure.
