Today’s iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch apps for free daily include a drawing utility, time management app, unique puzzle game, and budgeting app. A number of apps drop from paid to free on a daily basis*, and we pick the top four everyday, as many of the others aren’t worth your time even for free. Everyday we try to pick apps that are worth spending money on, but are now free to download, and here they are.
*Price drops are temporary, and usually last for just 24 hours, so be quick to download.
Vector Illustrator ($4.99 -> Free, Universal): A drawing utility that lets you compose vector images to be resized endlessly by other programs. The app can support images with hundreds of thousands of shapes, and lets you use paths, text, images, groups, masks, gradient fills, 80 different filters, and an unlimited number of Layers.
FocusDots ($1.99 -> Free, iPhone): A time management app that uses the Pomodoro Method, and provides a minimalist design that divides the days into dots. You simply decide on a task, launch the app, work on the task for 25 minutes, and the app will remind you when to take break. There are options for short, or long breaks, with the dots again accounting for intervals of time.
Dice Jockey ($0.99 -> Free, Universal): A unique puzzle game that relies on dice, so that you try to form sets of matching dice, based on the sides that are facing up. There are four different game modes, but the game always focuses on aligning two twos, three threes, four fours, and so on.
All Budget ($0.99 -> Free, iPhone): A budgeting app that supports multiple accounts to easily add in all transactions. You can run multiple report types with line and pie charts for summary, and history of expenses. The app also includes recurring transactions, budget mode, pin code protection, CSV export and import, custom categories, and more.
