Today’s iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch apps for free daily include a voice powered utility, physics puzzler, to-do app, and photo effects app. A number of apps drop from paid to free on a daily basis*, and we pick the top four everyday, as many of the others aren’t worth your time even for free. Everyday we try to pick apps that are worth spending money on, but are now free to download, and here they are.
*Price drops are temporary, and usually last for just 24 hours, so be quick to download.
Vocalarm Pro ($3.99 -> Free, iPhone): An all in one utility that revolves around a voice powered assistant, like Siri. The app has basic alarms combined with voice to give you the weather, calendar events, reminders, and of course the current time. There are multiple themes for the clock view, and there are some customization options to fine tune the details you’re given.
Lums ($1.99 -> Free, Universal) [Review]: A new physics puzzler twist, which has a set-up like Angry Birds at first glance, but changes it by up by providing in-air touch controls. Imagine if you could grab an angry bird mid-flight, and drag your finger to direct it right to a particular spot. There are 48 levels where you try to bring light back to the world, and get rid of vampires.
Orderly ($0.99 -> Free, iPhone): A to-do app that is packed with features including location based reminders, notifications, multi-touch gestures, unique themes, cloud sync, and sharing ability. The app combines the functionalities of a few different to-do apps into one for a full featured utility.
HeyHey Pix ($0.99 -> Free, Universal): Another photo effects app, and this one is designed for the lighter side of life with various colorful cartoon objects to add to photos. The app includes over 240 graphical elements created by Belgian street artist Bue the Warrior. There’s a kid flavor to the overall design, but the effects can be intriguing for all ages. Recently updated for The World Cup.
