Today’s iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch apps for free daily include a task manager, one touch puzzle platformer, run training app, and online arcade golf game. A number of apps drop from paid to free on a daily basis*, and we pick the top four everyday, as many of the others aren’t worth your time even for free. Everyday we try to pick apps that are worth spending money on, but are now free to download, and here they are.
*Price drops are temporary, and usually last for just 24 hours, so be quick to download.
Voodo – Easy To-Do ($4.99 -> Free, iPhone): A task manager app jam packed with features allowing you to add tags to your to-dos as well as set time, priority, and location. There are multiple ways to sort, and search your to-dos. The app also supports notes, sub-lists, contacts, maps, reminders, Google Calendar sync, and more. The app is free in honor of the release of the sequel, which is just essentially the iOS 7 version. Voodo – Task Book ($4.99 -> Free): The iPad version.
Gleamer ($0.99 -> Free, Universal): A puzzle platformer that is based on classic games, but infused with a one touch control scheme. There are 50 retro stylized levels where your block slides left and right automatically, and you simply tap to jump. Your goal is to collect all five starts while jumping between blue platforms, and avoiding red ones.
Easy 5K with Jeff Galloway ($3.99 -> Free, iPhone): The app provides the Galloway method of endurance training with High Intensity Interval Training that is targeted to anyone from beginners to veteran runners. There’s a special run walk run training method, with a seven week training program that includes GPS tracking, and music beat syncing.
Golf Battle 3D ($0.99 -> Free, Universal): A deluxe 3D golfing game that is all about long drives, and beating friends. There’s an advanced online multiplayer system for a more arcade golf game that doesn’t get bogged down in the usual golf tendencies. There are 26 unlockable characters, four golf courses, and multiple game modes.
