First seen as early as March, the Archos 101 XS tablet seems to be heading out to the public market as the device was just spotted at the FCC. the device’s FCC filings reveal some juice specs which make us think that it will give the Asus Pad Transformer a good competition. First things first, said Archos tablet will be running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Then it also has the familiar microSD card support as well as HDMI port. The device’s screen will have 1280×800 resolutions and a 3.5mm headphone jack will also be available. And the tablet’s battery will be a 6500mAh. Interestingly, the FCC documents did not include the tablet’s keyboard which is present in the manual. We’re not really sure whether Archos is making this available together with the tablet or will release it at some other time. Anyway, that’s as much as we can gather about the Archos 101 XS tablet. Will give you more details as soon as they become available.
