Earlier this week, tech giant Google announced several new products and services, including a new Nexus 7 tablet and Chromecast, an HDMI dongle that lets you stream video to your TV. Google also announced Android 4.3 (which we'll be comparing to 4.2 next week). That’s a whole lot of Google news to take in, and we're ready to talk about Google's updated product lines.
In this episode, Ars Associate Writer Casey Johnston and Senior Products Specialist Andrew Cunningham discuss the new products. Casey wonders if Google’s approach might become a funnel that someday forces users into using Google+. Will the Chromecast win the hearts and minds of couch potatoes? Whatever happened to Google TV? All paths seem to lead to using Google+, according to Casey.
