We already knew that Harbro has brought suit over the Transformer Prime tablet, however we are now seeing some additional information on that subject. These latest details are coming from Asus and it appears to be good for those who are hoping and/or planning to make a purchase. Basically, Hasbro feels the need to protect their brand and Asus feels like this suit will not affect production and shipments. Simply put, Asus spokesperson Chang Wei-ming stated that the “production of the Asus Transformer Prime tablet will continue and will not be affected by a trademark infringement lawsuit files by US toymaker Hasbro.” Furthermore, Asus believes that (after internal assessments have been made), they did not infringe on any trademarks. That being said, we are happy to see Asus coming off with such confidence, however we are also fairly certain that this is not going to be the end of the issue.
