BARCELONA, Spain – Asus introduced a number of devices last month, including the Asus Fonepad 7, Asus ZenFone series, Asus PadFone mini and new Asus PadFone.
The Asus Fonepad 7 phablet comes in two variants, one with support for LTE network – called Fonepad 7 LTE – while the other one is a 3G variant. Both models have 7-inch display. The LTE model runs on a Z2560 1.6GHz processor whereas the 3G phone is powered on a Z2520 1.2GHz chipset.
The ZenFone series comprises of three new phones: ZenFone 4, ZenFone 5 and ZenFone 6. The display size matches their names – 4 for 4-inch, and so on. The Asus ZenFone 4 allows storage to be expanded up to 64GB through a microSD slot. The Asus ZenFone 5 and Asus ZenFone 6 feature a Low-light Mode that enhances pictures taken in low light to be brightened up by about 400%.

Coming to Asus PadFone Mini, it is a 4-inch device that docks in a 7-inch tablet to switch between the Mini and the bigger screen. Features include dual-SIM option, a Z2560 processor, 8GB storage with memory expansion up to 64GB.

The new Asus PadFone is a 5-inch full HD display phone that takes advantage of LTE network connectivity and docks in a 10-inch tablet. The specifications comprise of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 2.2GHz quad-core processor and a 13MP camera.
The new Asus Android smartphones and tablets will come in different colours, but pricing and availability hasn’t been announced.
