New Delhi: As the players are looking to get a share of the tablet market, Asus has launched Fonepad 8 with a claim that the tablet has the narrowest bezel on an 8 inch tablet.
It has a 5.06mm bezel, 1280x800 IPS display and 72.% screen-to-body ratio and is priced at Rs. 13,999.
The voice-calling tablet comes with dual-SIM support and has 3G phone functionality. Under the hood is the 64-bit Intel Atom Z3530 1.3GHz quad-core processor. The device has dual front speakers.
The Fonepad 8 is available with 16GB of onboard storage, which can be further expanded up to 64GB via a micro SD card. It has a 5-megapixel rear and 2-megapixel front-facing cameras.
The company also claims that the 4000mAh battery provides up to 12 hours of life when watching videos or browsing the web, or up to 21 hours of 3G talk time.
It is available in Black and Gold colours.
