Asus launches the ZenFone 3 Zoom in the U.S.
Following its announcement back in January, Asus has launched the budget-friendly ZenFone 3 Zoom, the successor to the original ZenFone Zoom, in the United States. The handset is available to purchase through Amazon, Best Buy and a bunch of other independent retailers for the modest sum of $329.
For a sub-$400 smartphone, you actually get quite a lot of bang for your buck. Under the hood, you’ll find a 5.5-inch Full HD display, a 2GHz Snapdragon 625 octa-core CPU, 4GB of RAM, 32GB of expandable storage, a 13MP front-facing camera and a massive 5,000mAh battery.
The pièce de résistance
The pièce de résistance, however, is the ZenFone 3 Zoom’s 12MP dual camera system, which comprises of one 25mm wide-angle lens and a 59mm lens with a 2.3X optical zoom. Asus hasn’t shied on the software front, either. Users can shoot RAW images and have the facility to tinker with aperture, ISO and shutter speed.
Pretty neat for $329, right?
