The Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer ASUS has now launched a new smartphone here in India and it is called the Zenfone Live. As the name suggests, it comes with a new feature which is quite unusual and we haven’t really seen it before in the market. The smartphone comes with a live beautification technology that beautifies your live broadcasts which you do via Facebook, YouTube, etc. The smartphone is priced at Rs. 9,999 and it will be available in both offline as well online markets starting today.
Talking about the specs of this smartphone, it comes with a 5″ IPS Display on the front with a resolution of 1280 x 720 meaning it is an HD display. It is covered by a 2.5D curved glass on the top. Internally, it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 SoC which is a quad-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz and it also has Adreno 305 GPU. The smartphone is coupled with 2GB of RAM and it also has 16GB of internal storage. You can also further add a microSD card to increase the storage upto 128GB.
In terms of the camera, we are looking at a 13MP rear facing sensor with a f/2.0 aperture and dual LED flash. On the front, we have a 5MP front facing camera with a F/2.2 aperture. This is a wide angle lens and it also has soft LED flash. As mentioned earlier, the smartphone features a BeautyLive App which you can use to enable the beautification mode. It lets you remove the skin blemishes and makes you look flawless for those live streams. Other connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, FM radio, and GPS/ A-GPS.
The smartphone also comes with a 2,650 mAh battery which keeps it charged and it should be good enough to keep the lights on for a day easily.
