With the demand for battery-focused smartphones rising we now see many companies launching massive battery smartphones in the market. Today, Asus has launched a new smartphone in its Zenfone-series called as Asus Zenfone Max priced at Rs. 9,999 in India. The main selling point of the device is it packs an enormous 5000mAh battery that the company claims can deliver upto 38 hours of talk time and upto 914 hours of standby time.
Coming to its specifications, the Zenfone Max flaunts a 5.5-inch (720×1280 pixels) HD display with 267ppi as pixel density. Under the hood, it comes powered by Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor clocked at 1.0GHz paired with Adreno 306 GPU. The device supports dual sim dual standby and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop based ZenUI 2.0 out of the box.
The smartphone comes with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of built-in storage and can be further expanded using a microSD card slot upto 64GB. On the photographic section, the device features a 13MP rear camera with dual LED flash, laser autofocus, f/2.0 aperture and a 5MP front-facing camera for video chats and selfie lovers. It comes with standard connectivity options like 4G-LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS and microUSB port.
