Earlier today, AT&T re-announced its plans to carry the Samsung Galaxy Note II in the coming months – alongside three other new devices from Samsung: Galaxy Express, Galaxy Rugby Pro, and Galaxy Tab 2 10.1.
And now we’ve discovered that the carrier’s Note II (previously confirmed to have the model number SGH-i317) has been approved by the FCC. Needless to say, the SGH-i317 has been tested on AT&T-friendly HSDPA and LTE bands.
In addition to approving the SGH-i317, the FCC has also green-lighted Verizon’s Galaxy Note II, the SCH-i605 (see here).
Samsung officially said that the Note II would be available via all major US carriers “by mid-November.” But maybe Verizon and AT&T will launch their editions a bit earlier? We’ll let you know.
